Presentation to the network of National Focal Points

Our coordinator attended the Special Group NFP online meeting on 24/09/25

The @European Commission regularly informs the network of European Defence Fund’s National Focal Points (NFP) on notable developments from the Commission’s side, circulating said advancement to the EDF and other defence industry related topics.

The MaJoR project is the first EDF project providing Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP), so-called cascade funding.  There was naturally a high interest from NFPs to learn more about this project, and in particular its upcoming open calls and specific topics to be funded.

A brief but exhaustive presentation was given there by our coordinator @Marco Nawijn, in order to clarify this innovative instrument, and ultimately put NFPs in an ideal position to support interested and relevant SMEs.
