Selection & Process Information

In accordance with MaJoR Grant Agreement and MaJoR Cascade Funding conditions EU principles, IGNITY will maintain an open and transparent process for the identification and selection of the most suitable independent experts for the MaJoR cascade funding evaluations.

All applications are assessed based on expertise relevance, professional experience, independence, absence of conflicts of interest, and availability. Selected experts will be included in a reviewers’ pool to ensure sufficient capacity and contingency in case of topic-specific bottlenecks.

Applicants will receive an automatic acknowledgment of receipt when submitting their candidacy in the MaJoR website via the dedicated area.

Further to the applications review, IGNITY will inform applicants according to the process below:

  1. Eligible expert applications will be integrated in the pool of relevant experts for the evaluation of Major Cascade funding calls. Eligible experts will be contacted by IGNITY to inform them of their pre-selection.
  2. Experts will be contacted before each call to ensure that their availability matches the expectation of the evaluation process. The experts will be informed of their selection (or non-selection) as reviewer by IGNITY maximum one week after each call closure.

Experts selected for assignments will be required to sign a standard IGNITY External Expert Contract (based on the European standard expert agreement) before participating in any evaluation activities.

You have the opportunity to apply to be involved in our pool of experts – Call open till 27/03/2026 at 12:00 CET
